Demis Roussos是一位出生于希腊的歌手，在1968年的时候与另外两位音乐人vangelis和lucas sideras组成了Aphrodite's child。Demis Roussos担任主音手，vangelis担任键盘手，另一名成员lucas sideras担任鼓手。Aphrodite’s Child的这几位成员均受过古典音乐的熏陶，故不但音乐底子好，就连歌词写的也极富诗意。很可惜，Aphrodite’s Child组成时间不长，在70年代即解散，不过解散之后，他们在各自的领域也都发展得很出色。

　　Demis Roussos的音乐极富节奏感，且声音沙哑而沧桑，让人一听之后欲罢不能。尤其他的“Rain and tears”和“Goodbye my love,Goodbye”、“Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall”这几首歌经他情深意切的演绎，让你在忧伤的倾诉中，心被一点点地渗透。
